Skin Care Tips
Reduce puffiness under eye: Puffiness under the eyes is caused by anything that increases water retention. Avoid
alcoholic beverages and reduce salt consumption. Also sleep with your head elevated to avoid fluid buildup under the eyes.
Soothe
red, itchy, irritated skin: Try cool chamomile tea bags or cotton rounds dipped in milk for 15-20 minutes twice daily. Or try an over
the counter 1% hydrocortisone cream.
Soften dry lips: Apply Vaseline to the lips and gently brush them with a soft tooth brush, afterwards
wipe your lips with a damp wash cloth and apply a beeswax based lip balm.
Revive tired feet: Soak your feet in sea salt and
orange. Add one cup of sea salt and either a few orange slices, or a half of a cup of orange juice into a bowl of warm water. Soak
your feet for about a half of an hour. Pat dry and apply a mint foot gel or moisturizer.
Soften dry hands and feet: Wash hands with a gentle moisturizing cleanser and pat excess water. Then apply a thick moisturizing cream
(you can also use Vaseline) onto your hands and wrap in plastic wrap. The plastic traps body heat and raises the moisturizers absorption,
last wrap a warn towel around your hands for 15 minutes. Repeat this technique for your feet.
Brighten up dull skin: Start with a
mild scrub to remove dead skin. Follow with a hydrating gel mask. Leave mask on for 15-20 minutes. Finish with a brightening moisturizer.
Soften dry, flaky, facial skin: Soak cotton pads in pineapple juice and apply to the face for 15 minutes. Pineapple helps to dissolve
dead skin. After rinsing off the pineapple juice apply a thin layer of plain yogurt and leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse.
